When you try to walk through the desert then I recommend to wear all white. Black is too hot but white reflects the sun.
My experience is that if you wear linen you don't sweat that much. For my next trip i will wear a kaftan inspired suit cause its so in fashion right now. Also be careful with your shoes, sand can ruin leather shoes so i opted for some linen sneakers.
